A couple of other points of interest. There appears to be a Clackmannan County dating back to 1873, playing the Rugby Code. The Alloa Advertiser, 28 October 1882 has Clackmannan County v Stirling County playing on the same day as Alloa Athetic v King’s Park. (see attached) I can only assume both cod...
