Re: Scottish Miners v Hungarian Miners 1963

Football League Review
Does anyone know which Scottish clubs included the Football League Review with their programme when that publication was in existence? I have a Falkirk programme with a Football League Review inside it and I understand Aberdeen also issued it with their programme for a time.

Re: Junior International records
The goalkeeper listed as Charlie Wright of Rutherglen Glencairn says in the notes that John Litster has him as Ernest Wright. Ernest is correct - he is on Facebook and it highlights he was a goalkeeper for Rutherglen Glencairn in the 1960s and was capped in the 1960s. Charlie Wright played for Ruthe...

Re: Twechar Rangers / United
I thought that Twechar Rangers were a junior side right up until the 2nd World War apart from the period 1931-33 when they were effectively in abeyance after losing their ground. Twechar United I think were juveniles until going junior round about 1933

I wrote the history of the Fife Cup just a couple of years ago - but now you have such interesting aspects as Burntisland's first win and Kelty joining the Fife FA (and maybe other clubs soon) which make me wish I could add to it! I also have now had access to the Fife FA's minutes which date back t...
