Also, it is true that some of the added players did join the Thirds in the following season. e.g. Alec Bennett became their manager. CORRECTION:actually I realize now only Bennett joined them permanently after the tour. they did not always wear the red shirt of Third Lanark, but sometimes a white on...

This first tour was arranged by Third Lanark's chairman Colonel Wilson and a sports journalist named Bob Watson according to Bert Bell's history of Third Lanark 'Still Seeing Red.'
