Re: Paul Coutts at Cove Rangers

Maybe I should rephrase my question a bit. Which newspaper is recommended regarding the Highland League, and do they have an online archive ?

Paul Coutts at Cove Rangers

Does anyone know how much Highland League appearances Paul Coutts made for Cove Rangers per season? Seasons are 2006-07 and 2007-08. I only know he supposedly scored 1 league goal in 2006-07 and 6 the next season.

Also senior cup appearances and goals are welcome.

Is there something in there about Jim Skillen, once on the books of Kilmarnock, Accrington Stanley and Barrow?

Humm David, if ordering from Arabest, cheque or postal order is the only
way, read expensive.

But the books can also be ordered from YPD Books, and they accept credit
card, so they saved my day. As did this site/forum as i probably wouldn't
have known about these books.

Very interested in these books, but the only major problem for me as a foreigner is that one can only pay by cheque.

Paying by cheque is extremely expensive from Belgium to anywhere abroad.

So any hints/tips are very welcome on how i can get these books in my greedy hands

eBay for me is sometimes the only option. If i would use a cheque the price would double easily without taking into account the postage costs.

Thanks for the information. Always a great help to check out the forum here from time to time ... it turns up some gems.

The book also is to be available through eBay (guess the seller lowther38 is just John Litster)

David, thanks for the additional info.

John also accepts Paypal payments, but i'dd guess he only has that for foreigners like me :)

Bought the post-war CD that way ... since using cheques here in Belgium is well expensive.

Brian, do you have a link to this information. Ordered the CD about post-war players at the end of last week, and when i did i asked John is there were plans for a pre-war edition. Never thought someone would pick this up ... but he did as he answered me. If he pulls this off, it would be absolutely...

I got my copy of the book and CD directly from the
author on eBay as he was selling some copies there.

Don't know if it's still there, i'll have to look it up when
i'm home ... back to work now

Brian it seems the link to your website no longer works. What's the
current site where i can find out more about the Scottish Football
Historian magazine?
