Bobby Charlton

Searching online it said that Bobby Charlton made is man Utd debut against Charlton on October 6th 1956 but I have read somewhere he made his playing debut for Utd against Dundee? Could this be for the second string or in a friendly match?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Robert

Re: Extra time in Scottish Cup ties

I was under the impression that in the early days the match wasnt set to 45 minutes each way as some reports ive read state they played two halfs one of 40 the other of say 30 minutes for example? So I wouldnt think there would be set guidelines for extra time.

Re: Scottish Cup 1873-1986 by John Byrne

I spoke to John a couple of weeks ago and was talking about this, he said he would have a "rummage" as he was sure he had some extra copies in his loft. Hes not been keeping great recently, problems with his back etc, so I havent seen him about but will chase him up next time I see him.

Re: Billy Boyd (Clyde)

Had a look on the Litster disc and there is no goals recorded, the only info I saw of him was he is the clubs season top scorer with 32 goals in season 1932/33.
