Father's middle names were George Cameron. He graduated in maths at St Andrews University (the Queen's College Dundee part) and went on to become Principal Teacher of Maths at Morgan Academy Dundee, then Head Teacher of Logie Junior Secondary School in the city. He died just after Christmas 1986.

Sorry, I thought I had replied by return - I must have pressed the wrong button. Thanks for info re A Aitken. My father Bob (Robert G C Peden) was indeed a GK for Queens and Amateur Scotland.

Thanks for the info - I'm sure you're right about his first name, as the football card just has "D. Paris" Not sure where I got the Dennis from!

The football card states "Willie Archibald (GK) Stirling Albion. Received a free transfer from Partick Thistle at the end of last season [which would most likely be 1947-48] and was immediately snapped up by Stirling Albion. Willie was a triple junior internationalist two seasons ago..."
