Clyde Skene also played for St Johnstone in the first game of the Perthshire cup final for 1905-6 season according to the Scottish Referee of 5th March 1906.

If the 9 May report is assumed to be correct then .. Raith had to have scratched to them in R1 and the Cowden/Raith tie in R2 actually WASN'T a King Cup tie. When I was looking at Fife teams in this competition I couldn't find any reference to the Raith Rovers v Bellstane birds game ever being played in any of the newpapers on microfilm in Kirkcaldy library or any reference to either teams scratching. According to the book "There was a Happyland" written by David Allen Harold Uren signed for Lochgelly United at start of 1919/20 season. He is described as ex Liverpool, Everton and Portsmouth.
