Hi Gorgiewave and welcome to the forum. You raise some interesting points. I would argue that as far as the 42 SPL & SFL clubs are concerned there are only six that don't have any obvious association with the county/city/town of their origin in their name - these being the OF, Hibs, Morton, Albion ...
