Re: Scanning programmes

Thanks for the suggestion Bobby but I'm delighted with the quality of the scans, so I'm going to stick with that method... Does your scanner only produce PDF's? I don't think I've ever had a scanner that hasn't been able to produce JPG's as that would be a more native format for photographs. What i...

Re: Introductions?

Bobby Sinnet My interests are Hibs and Bonnyrigg Rose - as I keep having to point out to people I only live in Newtongrange, I'm from Bonnyrigg. I seem to be the baby here seeing as I'm only 44. I've done a fair amount of research into Hibs teams line ups going back to the beginning of time, which c...

Durhamstown Rangers 1880s

In the 1886/1887 Scottish Cup, Hibs played and beat Durhamstown Rangers.

Where on earth is Durhamstown, anyone know/help please? There's a place called Durhamstown in the Irish republic - surely not?

Re: Football Event at National Library of Scotland

One of the lads who used to travel on our supporters bus wrote a fanzine called "Worse Than East Fife". He was only a schoolboy at the time and this was probably reflected in the content and production, although it was fairly well received and sold well, all credit to him. The National Li...

Scottish Cup Semis

Did Rangers really win 21 scottish cup semis in a row from 1972 until last season or is my counting rubbish?

Re: IMPORTANT NOTICE - FUTURE OF THIS SITE

I'd love to help out too but simply don't have any time to commit. I really hope someone can be found to keep this brilliant resource going. I fully agree, Alan. I'd love to be able to take over in some capacity, but as I've said to David, I simply don't have the time due to my own site commitments....

Re: What To Do Against Gibraltar

I wonder if you'll find there's a rule in the junior rule book specifically to prevent juniors playing for the full scotland side.

Re: Fan Ownership

Fan Ownership. Funny old thing. Hibs are going through a process just now and 50% - a controlling stake, no less when taken with the 1% already held by fans - has been made available to fans to buy. But, as far as I can see the fans might "own" Hibs at some point in the future, the won't &...

Re: SPFL & TV

This is a huge bug bear of mine. at one point something like 86 of 87 Celtic away league games were televised and over a five year period and more Hibs home league games were shown live than from Parkhead over the same period. Now, I think telly is a necessary evil for much of the reasons already gi...
