Can somebody please help with which league they played in 1894/95, 1895/96, 1896/97, 1903/04, 1904/05, 1905/06 and 1906/07 + league posision? I have found them in Scottish Combination 1907/08.

Liverpool had a player named John Cameron in 1892/93. Born in Renton in 1869. And he died in Renton in 1900. Did he play for Kirkcaldy, Renton, Stoke and Hibernian before Liverpool, and for Glasgow Thistle after? Or are we talking about 2-3 different players? Are there any records of him playing for...

It is very difficulty. There was 2 William McCann playing football for Stratclyde and Abercorn in the mid 1890s. The goalkeeper and a forward. I don`t know if the LFC player returned to Scotland. John Miller, Dumbarton

John Miller played for Dumbarton when they won the Scottish League 1890/91 and 1891/92. It has been reported that he was back in Dumbarton in 1937 visiting ex teammates. Can somebody please help with more facts about that?

A man named William McCann died 8/10-1904 in Royal Alexander Infirmary, Paisley, Renfrewshire. Was he the ex goalkeeper who played for Abercorn (1892-94) & Liverpool (1894/95) + also had a trial match for Scotland?
