Re: James Scott

Thank you!! His family moved to USA in September 1922, without him. It looks like he went before them. So sometime between September 1921 and September 1922.

James Scott

He played for Liverpool (1910-15), Dumbarton (1919-21) and Third Lanark (1921-22). Can somebody please tell me when he played his 2 games for Third Lanark in 1921/22 season? He played for New York Giants 1923-26.

Re: McCallum jr & sr.

I agree. First I thought senior and junior was father and son. But it can bee about age. And yes, Don McCallum was usually a full back. Sadly we have never found his birth and death.

McCallum jr & sr.

Renfrewshire Cup final 2nd leg 7th May 1904. Morton - St Mirren 1-1. Morton- McCallum sr is listed as left back and McCallum jr as right half. I suppose jr is ex Liverpool player Don McCallum. Can somebody please help with information about sr?

A very interesting question!!
We (Liverpool FC Official Archives) only knows that he was recommanded by an ex LFC player in October 1919.

Re: John McConnell

It is correct that he later was a painter and decorator. He died in Wishaw in 1947. Both birthdates are wrong. He was born in Motherwell in 1883. So c30 years when he played his last match for Aberdeen in 1913.

John McConnell

He had played for Motherwell Hearts, Ashfield, Motherwell, Airdrieonians and Liverpool before he had 1 season (1912/13) with Aberdeen. He was only c30 years at the time. Did he play for any other clubs after that? I know he got married in Rubishaw, Aberdeen 31/12-1913.

Re: Harold Uren

I went through England, Wales and Scotland FA registrations of players 1914-1919. I found Fred Uren for Dunfermline in October 1915. J. Uren in August 1919 for Lochgelly United. Harold John Uren was in Royal Artillery during WW1. All his children from 1911 to 1926 was born in Wirral, Cheshire. His d...
