My gawd - they didn't "miss" the train - they lost it! How can you lose a train!!!

Clyde next? I've heard that Stirling Albion are ropey also - don't know how true this is though.

What's to happen if a few 1st & 2nd div teams go into administration? Do they all get relegated to the 3rd?

It's a horrible thing to ponder implosion and legal recrimination on this scale.

They've lost their appeal - so now what happens? Is this heading for the courts?

I can see the SFL being ripped asunder here...

And it gets even worse. So bad at Pittodrie that Motherwell's 3-0 defeat is quite respectable by comparison. I didn't expect us to get even a draw against Steaua - but was hopeful for a more narrow defeat so that the tie was still alive for next week. The Aberdeen score has taken me by complete sur...

Thanks. The rationale that you listed for that is logical - so I can see where you're coming from.

After some more reflection - they were a poor side! You needed to reflect on that !?! Did you intially consider they'd compared well with the other teams you're going to put 8 past this season??? Great result though. Hitting 8 goals is very special, regardless of opposition and especially in...

We'll have a tough job getting through against Steaua Bucharest.

Sorry - have been away for a while but as the resident Well fan I should offer some way of a riposte to the slander above! Without going into the definition of a good football team, what teams qualify for this and whether they earned this through consistently delivering good performances season afte...

I remember saying that seeing Killie win in the space of two weeks was just too much. Weird.

I've just searched soccerbase trying to find that week and come up with nothing. But this is how I remembered it.

I wish I had one of those fitba daft memory things whereby I can pluck hunners of stuff from the old grey matter....

Could it be something to do with the defeat of another Ayrshire side in the Cup @ beautiful downtown Fir Park that year? Got it in one. Shows how fitba daft - or maybe just plain daft - we were in those days. On the Saturday a crowd of us went to watch Killie at Elgin in the Scottish Cup - a journe...
