Re: Topscorer
For Hibernian it looks like it was Joe McBride for the two seasons mentioned, with 19 and 20 goals respectively according to Hibs Fitba Stats...

Re: Club History Websites
I have also come across QPFC.com. Really good website, although some of the home attendance figures taken from Hampden Gate Records are at odds with my records - perhaps the Hampden records do not include season ticket holders as they are all lower figures than those published in the press at the ti...

Paul Hegarty in the League Cup for Hamilton Accies
Looking to find out if Paul Hegarty played in the following midweek League Cup ties for Hamilton Accies. Have checked the Glasgow Herald, but no line-ups recorded.

Re: PARK or STADIUM
In November 1998 when East Fife visited Partick Thistle the match programme had Firhill Park as the venue. Five months later it was Firhill Stadium. I think the new (Jackie Husband?) stand was built around that time, perhaps prompting the change of name. Clyde programme covers from the early 50's ha...

Club History Websites
Looking for websites that provide information in relation to individual appearances and goals scored. FitbaStats is an excellent resource for Hibernian, Forfar Athletic, Morton (post 1970's), Elgin City and Rangers (although for some reason Glasgow Cup games are included as competitive fixtures) Cel...

Re: Definition of 'scrimmage'
Reminds me of my records from season 1909-10 where Alex Mitchell and Murray are credited with half a goal each in the opening day 1-1 draw v St Johnstone in the Central League. Presumably a scrimmage took place...

Willie Bell (East Fife and Cowdenbeath)
There was a Willie Bell who played for Raith Rovers in 1921-22, also turned out twice on loan for East Fife that season.
Does anyone know if this is the same Willie Bell who was on the books of East Fife (1906-1909 & 1913-1916) and Cowdenbeath (1909-1912) ?
