The book 'Essential History of Celtic' credits P McStay with 2 League Champions medals. This suggests his seven starts and 3 sub appearances in 81-2 weren't enough to merit a medal.

Ajax - tour of Scotland, mid 70s?

Does anyone recall if Ajax did a mid 70s tour? I have a very vague recollection that they played at Celtic Park and Fir Park - where Motherwell beat them?

If so, know which year? Presume it wasn't their first team at the time - unless they went downhill quickly.

Any memories appreciated.
