Here's a bit I wrote in Cowdenbeath programme some time back Willie Vandermotten did play for Cowden in the 1950s. I believe he was of Dutch descent but as far as I am aware he came from the Gorbals in Glasgow! Willie for a time was a tram driver for Glasgow Corporation Transport. He was in the Air ...

Donald Neal Kennedy McCallum is the man from Cowdenbeath and he was the player with Lochgelly United and East Fife - later with Swansea, Leith, Brechin, etc after the War. He was 22 in 1911 and cant have been the same man who played for Liverpool.
