Winners of Scottish and English Leagues

Alex Young of Hearts 1960 and Everton 1963 , Alex Scott of Rangers 1959 &1961 possibly 1963 as well and Everton 1963 and Billy Stevenson Rangers 1959 and Liverpool 1964 &1966. I dont know about pre war.

Size is important

Whilst not having the League tables handy just now I remember sometime in the late sixties/early seventies of total domination by the city clubs it went something like 1 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Hibs 4 Hearts and 5 and 6 were Dundee Utd and Dundee or the other way around.

Just been reading an article on Pie & Bovril written by Press Associaton about Alex McLeish and Martin O'Neil's managerial rivalry in two cities and it goes on to say that under McLeish , Rangers improved after the disasterous Le Guin era.
