Went to Whitehill Welfare v Shire yesterday. The 350 figure given out was just a "guesstimate". They shoud have an accurate figure in a future programme. There was no logic to it. The SFL claimed that they "tried" to balance it out but, in practice, that never happened. Numerous examples of teams playing 2 home games against the same side for three or four successive seasons. Interestingly, nodoby really complained about it - they just got one with it.

Dumbarton started in 1968/9, but didn't bother in 1969/70. They started again in 1970/1. Albion Rovers issued in the early 1950s then stopped until 1971/2.
