The Mitchell Library in Glasgow has the Weekly News in bound volumes (but not a complete collection) from 1901-1956 & 1981-onwards.

Kjell, The Raisbeck story runs for 17 Weeks ! from 20th March - 10th July 1915.

Jimmy Gibson, Aston Villa

Can someone confirm if Jimmy Gibson (Partick Thistle, Aston Villa & Scotland) received a benefit from Villa in 1932.

The Evening Telegraph Wed 28th Sep 1932 reported he was to receive such a game but I can't find any confirmation of the game taking place.
