Info Req: Brechin City v Partick T, Testimonial 1954

Thistle traveled to Brechin City to play in a testimonial on the 26th April 1954 and the score was reported 3-1 to Thistle, I know the goalscorers (McGeachie / Wright (2), McInnes) but that's it, no team line up's or even who's testimonial it was.

Can anybody help?

The Toulon tournemnt was (& sill is) I believe classed as unoffical.

I have been listing Partick Thistle players who have Representative Honours (Full, B, U23, U21, League. Youth, Glasgow FA, etc etc here

The Daily Record 30th September 1921 reported.

Among the companies registered in Scotland this week is the Dykehead FC (Limited), Rosehall Road, Dykehead, Stepps. The Capital is £2000 in £1 shares.

The same year the Glasgow Clubs played in the (Glasgow) Lord Provosts Rent Relief Cup. The final was played in front of 25,000 at Hampden with Rangers beating Celtic 2-0.
