Hibs are interesting. In the last 20 years there has been a definite shift away from Hibs fans who see Celtic as "our cousins". I hate Hearts the most, with Celtic a close second, and Rangers third. I like Aberdeen. A small underachieving club, whose fans think they should be part of G14. [copyright...

You are dead right Bobby S. Edinburgh will not see a ground share in our lifetimes. I think I like the gardens the way they are and out of town venues do not stir the blood. On second thoughts, how about getting the land at the foot of the Craggs. And it is two minutes from me. I must look out a do...

Okay, so Hibs they are an Edinburgh club. But seriously, you must admit that a lot of Leithsiders do claim independence from Edinburgh. Is it really important in the great scheme of things? Most Hibs and Hearts fans I know would gratefully accept a shared stadium if it was better than what they had...

You could regionalise the first rounds too, to save cash. Although I'm sure FIFA would make more than enough money from the TV rights to cover the travel costs.

Mind, we're not talking about a lot of games.

207 entrants would mean 206 games.

Does that mean Scotland would win something :?: :?: :?:
Probably not, but we might gloriously lose a quaich final to Lichtenstein :)

I'm a bit mental, me. I would do away with international friendlies, piece of nonsense, and replace them with a one leg knock out cup. Aha, you say, but after the first round of 100 matches, 100 teams would be out. Aha, I say, then they can play off for a bowl, the second round losers can play off f...

I think that looking at 4 opening wins isnae a very good starting point: Aberdeen in 84/85 won 15 and drew 1 of their opening 17 games: 1 Aberdeen 17 15 1 1 42 11 31 2 Celtic 17 11 4 2 43 16 26 3 Rangers 17 7 8 2 19 9 22 4 Dundee United 17 7 4 6 28 20 18 5 St. Mirren 18 8 2 8 23 30 18 6 Hearts 18 7 ...

I agree with your notion of reorganisation, but I'd go two leagues 18 teams, and regional below that.

I'd merge the seniors and the juniors, and have a pyramid.

In the Football League Centenary match at Wembley on August 8th 1987 between the FL and a Rest of the World side, three Scots played for the League. Richard Gough was replaced by Stevie Clarke and Pat Nevin came on midway through the second half (replacing Liam Brady). The FL won 3-0. I do believe,...
