Alex Cameron commentated on the Scottish Cup Final most years until Jock Brown arrived at STV in August of that year, so that WAS his last commentary. Arthur Montford presented from the studio. As for the wee boy, MAYBE he was trying to escape? Does anyone remember Pat Crerand's biased co-commentary...

For some reason, Chris Robertson is called Sandy Jardine in the 1974-75 team photo. I assume it was because Sandy Jardine was still on holiday after the World Cup, although I dob't know why they didn't just insert a photo of him underneath.

Scott Wilson

Does anyone know if Scott Wilson [with Brechin in 2005-06] played 14 games for Motherwell in 2000-01? According to John Litster, he did. He also says he was signed from Ayr United.

Celtic's penultimate match of season 1970-71 with Ayr United was played at Hampden because of building work at Parkhead. This match was said to clinch the Championship, but according to London Hearts website, Aberdeen were still top on goal AVERAGE. Anyway, the final game against Clyde was played at...

I was at this game. Rangers hit Hearts with everything, but lost as a direct result of this incident, which ultimately lost Rangers the title. This was Rangers' last defeat of the season and they only dropped 2 points from then.

I think all non-league tables from 1987-88 were published in the Scottish Non-League Review by Stewart Davidson, if that is any help.

According to their official history 'Rags to Riches', they actually used 20 players in the 1982-83 season. Funnily enough, I believed it was either 14 or 15. By the way, does anyone know the most and least number of players used by any cub in a season in Scotland?

The Junior Cup draws often take place at the ridiculous time of 7.30 in the MORNING in the Evening Times office. Does anyone know the reason for this?
