Not a book, but a website gives League Appearances and goalscorers, but not separate substitute appearances from 1960 to now. There are around 25 Scottish teams including Clydebank and Third Lanark. It is ongoing and Neil Brown is hoping to have all British Lea...

Can anyone give details of the clubs John Petrie of Third Lanark played for in date order? John Litster's CD-Rom has him with Third Lanark 3 times.

Scotsport started in 1957 in or around the first week of STV, but what was shown, I don't know. However, the presentation would obviously have been better than today's!!! Arthur Nontford would use his famous word 'stramash' to describe it. Is that a proper word, I wonder?

Falkirk Book

There are at least two statistical books on Falkirk called 'The Brockville Bairns'. Volume 1 covers 1946-69 while Volume 2 gives coverage from 1969-94. There may have been a book covering the years up to 1946, but I can't say for sure.

Shawfield Amateurs

Would Shawfield Amateurs ground not have been Raeberry Park? There was talk of Clyde moving there before Cumbernauld, but the Council refused planning permission - as usual.
