There is definately one occasion and possibly more under the 10 ,14 , 14 league set up when Hearts , Hibs & Meadowbank were all away on the Same Saturday. All 3 were in different divisions. I said in my last post that my brother in law played for Queensland against Dundee when in fact it was a Lions/City select side he played for , he did play for the Queensland State rep side in they days too.

I have the match programme for the two games against Auckland ( a single programme for both games ) the first game was against Auckland Province X1, made up of players from Auckland based clubs and included ex Dundee Utd keeper Sandy Davie ( sub goalkeeper ) and ex Cambuslang Rangers,Scottish Junior...

With the exeption of the Highland League, the East and West Junior set ups are far stronger than their senior counterparts, so I would suggest that those senior clubs with the relevant enclosed grounds join their regional juniors clubs and that they become the East & West set ups.The North regional ...
