Scottish Football 1800,s

I am looking for information regarding competitions in the 1880's to 1900 mainly the Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup, Glasgow Cup, Glasgow League and Scottish Cup, mainly looking for line ups and scorers for matches played between those dates in anyone could reference anything for me I would be very much obliged.

... And haud on even longer as I've a Scottish Cup book coming out in 2023 to mark the 150th anniversary!

Full match details for individual clubs can be found in the complete records books that have been published: ie. Rangers, Celtic, Queen’s Park and Partick Thistle have all had these, and I have most of the details for third Lanark and I am sure that Gordon Sydney could help you out with the Clyde details if needed. Probably best just to wait for Forrest’s book to come out though ...
