East Of Scotland Shield
I've created a page on Wikipedia on the East Of Scotland Shield based on my set of Hearts and Hibs results.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_of_Scotland_Shield
I'm going to try and put together a complete set of results from the competition.
Does anyone have a set already?

1995-96 Hibs
1996-97 No competition
1997-98, 98-99 Hearts
1999-2000 Held over
In addition some of his winners differ from yours. He gives the following (your winners in brackets):
1886-87 Hearts (Hibs)
1900-01 Raith Rovers (Leith Athletic)
1905-06 Hibs (Hearts)
1917-18 Hibs (Hibs-Hearts draw)
1920-21 Hibs (two winners, Hibs v Hearts, Hearts v St Bernard's)
1949-50 Hearts (Hibs)
1968-69 Hearts (Hibs)
1970-71 Hibs (Hearts)
1971-72 Not completed (Hibs)
1978-79 No Competition (Meadowbank)
1989-90 Hibs (Hearts)
As you can see his list goes on beyond 1990. Stocks gives the original name as the Edinburgh Challenge Cup (until 1891)
BTW how reliable are these wiki pages? I don't just mean mistakes, which we can all make but some real humdingers. How do you avoid idiots editing them? In the past month I've seen one which says Bertie Auld was a goalkeeper, others which link players to people with the same name but totally different professions, some which mix up players with the same names - leading to them supposedly having 80-year careers - and a few bizarre pages attempting to be in broad Scots

Thanks for all the info.
I based mine on my list of Hearts and Hibs results i.e. Hearts or Hibs losing or winning in a Final. Some of them get a bit confusing as some Finals weren't played until the following season. Some games were disputed and replies ordered or draws turned into wins.
What I'm going to do is trace each Final back to it's report in the SDA where possible.
I'll change the Wiki links to reflect football clubs rather than other things.
The thing about Wiki is that it is a 'common' thing and the 'common' good should improve it. Normally this is OK but you get vandalism e.g. Hearts and Hibs fans inserting nonesense into each others pages. These do get removed though.
