I just discovered recently that Falkirk Library has the master copies of the Linlithgowshire Gazette 1891-1975. I've been too busy with my Falkirk Heralds & Falkirk Mails to notice.
I'm gonna be spending a good bit of time taking copies of these.
If anyone has a specific interest in fitba' in East Lothian, or want to know if there's a different match report for a game v Bo'ness etc. back then give me a shout & I'll try to do my best. But I warn you it's not of the greatest quality

John, could you clarify Bo'ness Cadora's formation date. I have them listed as being formed in 1932, but there are references of a Bo'ness Cadora winning the Kelso Cup in 1930. If it was a Juvenile or amateur competiton, then their date of founding may have to be pushed back.

I'll have a look, though I suspect that the Bo'ness Journal might be a better place to look. Sadly the Bo'ness Journal is only held in Bo'ness Library, but I like my days out in Bo'ness!!

Strange to see that nobody picked me up on my "deliberate" mistake, as Linlithgow is, of course, in West Lothian, not East

The info i have here at hand sugests Bo'ness Cadora started up 1928/29 season, taking part in the West Lothian Juvenile League, playing out of Drum Park, cannot see a mention of Cadora before that date, hope that is of some help.

Cheers, I'll amend Cadora's entry to 1928.
