Pyramid Playoff 2015

Post by HibeeJibee » Mon Apr 27, 2015 1:30 pm

Seems that the BBC and the football stat agencies are only regarding the Pyramid Play-off Final as worthy of record this season. However if anyone is intending to regard the Semi-Final in the same category - which would seem the obvious thing?! - here are the details. Scorers and minutes are taken from the PA details in my paper (you do get HL / LL scorers and minutes these days)... attendance from Edinburgh City official twitter... line-ups including sub data from EEN report... referees from programme.

I haven't been able to find the unused Edinburgh City substitutes (of which there would be 4) anywhere... I've got Brora's 6 from their official twitter, posted prior to kick-off. There were a few yellow cards - 1 or 2 for Brora, 2 or 3 for City, I think - but largely no record of those.

EDIT: Acutally 'HFLhub' to the rescue: http://www.hflhub.co.uk/

Just back from Brora v Montrose game.

Spoke to a Brora official who said crowd at Edinburgh City game was "around 350".

My head count for today's game v Montrose came to 465. A Brora supporter confirmed there were "far more" today than last week.

Thanks for posting the estimated attendance. David Ross was still looking for the figure and an estimate is better than nothing!

If Montrose go down do they go into the HL or the LL?

Highland League. There is a line of longitude, equivalent to the mouth of the River Tay, which demarcates a fixed boundary between HL & LL.
