By the way, re East Kilbride, there seems to be a bit of local scoffing at the 1871 claim. East Kilbride YM AFC claim to be the 'oldest and most successful club in East Kilbride': http://www.eastkilbrideym.co.uk/

I was browsing Wikipedia last night and noticed Vale of Clyde have a formation date of 1873. Does their history really extend back that far unbroken? They don't have a website and I don't have any books on Junior football (not in this hemisphere, anyway - some in the basement back in Scotland...)
