From the Football League Players Records:

Mike S Phillips joined Grimsby Town in Jan 1955 to end of the season, made six appearances with one goal. Born 18 January 1933 in Cumnock (Michael Shirkie Phillips).

William Smith joined Carlisle Utd in March 1963, no appearances. Joined Sheffield United July 1965 for one season, made two appearances and scored one goal. Born 12 October 1942 in Cumnock.

And the author of the discs was John Litster.
