Quickest Scottish goal

Willie Sharp scored a goal after seven seconds, for Partick Thistle against QOS on 20 December 1947.

Is this the fastest goal ever scored in Scotland?

Berwick`s Alex Burke is reputed to have netted in 7 seconds vs. Raith Rovers @ Shielfield 2nd Division on 22nd February 2003.

Clyde's first goal on Saturday (Willie Sawyers) against Peterhead has been noted as nine seconds, as far as I'm aware this equals Clyde's fastest goal.

Does anyone have a list of goals scored in ten seconds or under (Scottish League, League Cup and Cup matches only)?

The Official Club Site now has this goal at EIGHT seconds.

Robert Dunn of Partick Thistle scored in what was accepted to be seven seconds against Livingston. I can't confirm the date at the moment, but fairly sure it was season 1998-99.

Charlie Dickson scored in ten seconds for Dunfermline against Celtic on 19 March 1960, probably a club record although I've seen Jackie Sinclair credited with seven seconds against Hearts in a League Cup tie at Tynecastle on 14 August 1974. Perhaps Hearts supporters could verify this?

I was at this game - and many of us made it out to be six seconds btw...!!

Berwick kicked-off, a midfielder kicked the ball up the park, Pacquito (RB for Raith) headed it into middle of the pitch, and Burke slammed it in from about 30yards out. I can still vividly picture the process in my head today.

I personally believe the goal was scored in 6seconds but we'll never know.
