I notice that the attendance at Fir Park for Gretna v Cowdenbeath came in at 342.
The question is whether any top flight team in Scottish football history has had a lower attendance for a competitive home match?
Lowest home attendance for a top flight team?

They haven't done the required maintenance to it to renew its safety certificate. I believe it needed major expense on it which to be fair is pretty pointless if it is to be demolished soon anyway (though work is still not started so far as I'm aware).Burnie_man wrote:Why aren't Gretna using Raydale for their Cup games?

Several times. For instance I have a note of a 1st division match between Vale of Leven and Abercorn in 1891-92 which had an attendance of 150 and 200 for Cambuslang v Vale of Leven in the same season.LLD wrote:I notice that the attendance at Fir Park for Gretna v Cowdenbeath came in at 342.

During the First World War a 1st division game between Aberdeen and Ayr United at Pittodrie in 1916-17 was watched by around 250.
I'm sure there are others in the period 1890-1939.
The lowest top flight league crowd I can find for the post-1961 period (there aren't full figures available before then) is 412 for Third Lanark v Airdrieonian in 1964-65. The only other sub-500 gate was Hamilton v St Johnstone in 1965-66.
I for one certainly classify the Summer Cup in 1964 & 1965 as a first class competition and the game at Cathkin on May 19th 1965 between Third Lanark and Airdrieonians was watched by just 216.
