Most Replied tie in the scottish (qualifying) cup?
Came across the 1901/02 scottish qualifying cup tie between Albion Rovers and Wishaw United that went to a 5th replay before Wishaw prevailed. This must be a contender for the most replayed tie in the scottish cup, albiet in the qualifying competition. Anyone know of a more replayed tie?
The first match was successfully protested so officially there were 'only' four replays. That's the same as the Beith-Broxburn Scottish cup tie proper in 1909 referenced in other posts.
The only incidence of five replays I can find is the 4th (final) qualifying round tie of the FA Cup between Alvechurch and Oxford City in 1971-72 which Alvechurch won at the sixth attempt.
