I got asked this. Is there one?

----------

Hi mate,

I'm trying to find the answer to a question and thought I would chance asking you if you could help as you have a wonderful wealth of experience in matters like this.

Only one english manager has won the scottish cup

Give me the details?

Managers name, team and year will do it for ya.... Cant really think of any clues...

Even if you could point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.

I presume the answer would be Reggie Smith, manager of Falkirk when they beat Kilmarnock in the 1957 final. He was a former England international although he was actually born in South Africa - I believe his father represented South Africa at rugby.

Either Graham Rix or Tony Mowbray will manage one of the finalists this season so there could well be another.

And just to clarify what I said before, he was actually born in England (Canning Town, 9th November 1930) and grew up in South Africa
