Hi everyone,
just joined up so dont know if this has been asked before,couldn't see it.
Anyone know were I can get full Stirling cup results from since 1970?

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I'm afraid I can't think of anything better than a long and laborious trawl through the local press or contacting the Stirlingshire FA (do they still exist?)

The Stirlingshire FA still exist, in a form, in that each of the six clubs send a representative to a meeting, where they say "Same again? Okay! Here's the draw, the final will be played at XXX!". The only problem is that they don't tell anybody about anything at the meeting until usually the day of the match, I completely missed Falkirk's first match in the cup this season [Tuesday, 7th July [1-2 defeat]], and I have only recently found out that the Final will be Stenhousemuir v Dumbarton at Ochilview on Tuesday the 13th of October, even though as far as I know we still haven't played our other game v Alloa. And although neither team can qualified, nobody has said it has been abandoned.

Since my original question I've been researching this competition for a good few months now,I've managed to get right back to 1921 to add on to what John had done on the Football Archive site and I've also built up a spreadsheet with each teams individual record in the cup.Only thing i need now is some help with these particular games going back to WWII if anyone can help,wether its a fellow stato/Geek or just a teams supporter who happens to know the result,any help would be apprecited,thanks in advance guys if you can.
