Can anyone help with Montrose line-up, scorers, goal times and attendance for the Second Division game at Meadowbank Stadium on 5th October 1974?

I don't have full stats of the game, but I was there and remember Meadowbank took the lead but eventually went down 2-1.
Somewhere deep in the archives of the BBC there should be a film of the match. Football Focus covered it, and ran a short feature the following Saturday - the typical patronising stuff about worst team in Britain (Meadowbank had lost every game up till then).
Attendances were never properly recorded, but this being Meadowbank's first season and with the novelty factor, I would think 502 is more likely to be correct.
The next Saturday they finally got a win, 1-0 at Brechin.

On this occasion it was accurate. Eight league games lost, following on from five League Cup defeats. 21 players including four goalkeepers used already. Two league goals scored, 27 conceded, 8-1 and 5-0 defeats. And (I think) a 4-1 home loss to Selkirk in the Qualifying Cup.ScottishFA wrote: the typical patronising stuff about worst team in Britain (Meadowbank had lost every game up till then).
I'm not attempting to decry their later league history by saying they were elected to the league as cannon fodder for clubs that preferred an easy trip to Edinburgh and the Pools money that was a vital part of clubs income rather than a more challenging one to the Highlands or Borders.
