I am researching the black South African touring team ('the Kaffirs') that visited Britain in 1899-1900. As far as I am aware they played six games in Scotland between September 11 & 21 of 1899: Hibs, Morton, Ayr Parkhouse, Hamilton, Dundee & Celtic. Does anyone have details of any additional matches during this period. I'm also interested in peripheral information - for example where were the team based, what other activities did they take part in (they seem to have been taken on tours of local factories and places of interest at some venues), plus any interviews with players.

The match report in the Dundee Courier for the Dundee v Kaffirs game is from a different age.

I have a note of the Kaffirs team for the match v Celtic but for some reason not the Celtic team :(

If you have it please pass it on.

Thanks
