There are a few spelling errors I think. Lêonard Gorissen, Marcel Verachtert, Richard Leroux, Louis Debackere Jacques Cuypers.
There's no one with the name Bogaerts in the first team of FC Liege.

The match was played in Ghent

I have found a "Bogaerts" on the page of Worldfootball.net. You can see here :

http://www.worldfootball.net/player_sum ... -bogaerts/

It seems that he was really a player of Lierse SK.

The stadium was the Jules Ottenstadion. It was KAA Gent's home until a couple of years ago when they moved to their new ground.

Thanks everybody for these details and the clarity on names of players and was probably reason couldn't find their christian names. Also think with Bogaerts it is definitely Walter and the Liege and not Lierse is a copy typist error in newspapers at the time as they would sound similar down the phone line.
