Five goals in six minutes
Five goals in six minutes
Was checking the Arbroath Herald for Junior results and came across the report from the Scottish 2nd Division game between Stenhousemuir and Arbroath which stated that Stenhousemuir scored 5 goals in 6 minutes (35th - 40th minute). This must surely be some kind of record in Scottish football at least.

Re: Five goals in six minutes
Given 36-0 means an average of a goal every 2.5 minutes there's a fair chance there must have been some periods of similar scoring bursts in a certain obvious fixture, no?honestman wrote:Was checking the Arbroath Herald for Junior results and came across the report from the Scottish 2nd Division game between Stenhousemuir and Arbroath which stated that Stenhousemuir scored 5 goals in 6 minutes (35th - 40th minute).
