He played for Renton, Everton (1890-93), Liverpool (1893-94), Blackburn (1894-95), Liverpool South End and Wigan.
Probably born 19/2-1870 in Cardross, Dumbarton. Where and when did he die?

A possible clue is that in the 1911 census he is named as Peter Gordon (and signs his name Peter). Same family as Patrick Gordon in 1901 - wife Caroline, children John, Wilhelmina. By then a dock labourer with 9 children, living in Melbourne Street, Liverpool.

Thank you!! I believe you are correct. His age is "up and down" in census. And also his name. Peter on marriage cert. It looks like he was born Patrick but prefared Peter later in life.
I see there was another Peter Gordon born 1873 in Dunbarton. His father and mothers names was same as Patrick. (John & Mary.) But it looks like they emigrated to USA in 1885.
