ORKNEY-CRAIGMYLE CUP
I came across the 1st Round draw for this competition of 1st September 1931. Was this a one-off competition or was it regular?
Re: ORKNEY-CRAIGMYLE CUP
A quick google reveals it is still being played for:

Re: ORKNEY-CRAIGMYLE CUP
I was interested to read the posts about the Craigmyle Cup as I have come across it myself. Referee Peter Craigmyle from Aberdeen was a great supporter of football in the Orkney Islands. He regularly refereed the annual Orkney versus Shetland inter-county match that in the 1930’s would attract crowds of over 5,000. He donated the Craigmyle Cup in 1931 to be played for between Orkney clubs and, as we know, is still contested today. Alongside this he visited the Islands to conduct referee examinations and also helped, through his contacts, to get Scottish League clubs to visit to play friendlies. Peter was linesman at the Final of the Empire Exhibition Tournament on 10 June 1938 when Celtic met Everton. In August 1938 he presented the autographed ball from the final to the Orkney Football Association for them to use to help raise funds.
