Bill McCartney
Does anyone have dates of birth and death, please, for Bill McCartney, who played for Hibs and Clyde prior to WW1 and won a solitary Scottish cap in 1902?

Re: Bill McCartney
And also his team-mate Andy McGeachan (I have born 1882 - when did he die?) - sorry, I should have added both in the original request. Thanks for any help with this.

Not a specific answer but it might help in a small way...the "The Arbroath Herald and Advertiser for the Montrose Burghs" on the 29th of March 1929 tells us that Billy McCartney (ex-Clyde) still goes to see his son playing for Morton. Cheers SB

He was born 30 April 1879 at a country house near Largs where his father worked as a coachman.
