James Scott

He played for Liverpool (1910-15), Dumbarton (1919-21) and Third Lanark (1921-22). Can somebody please tell me when he played his 2 games for Third Lanark in 1921/22 season? He played for New York Giants 1923-26.

I found two league and two Glasgow Cup matches. He was at right half in all matches other than the last one when he played at centre half.
3 September 1921 - Glasgow Cup Third Lanark 2 Clyde 0 at Cathkin Park (source: Sunday Post - Sunday 4 September 1921)
10 September 1921 - Scottish League Dumbarton 3 Third Lanark 3 at Boghead (source: Sunday Post - Sunday 11 September 1921)
17 September 1921 - Glasgow Cup Rangers 2 Third Lanark 0 at Ibrox Park (source: Sunday Post - Sunday 18 September 1921)
24 September 1921 - Scottish League Third Lanark 4 Clydebank 1 (source: Sunday Post - Sunday 25 September 1921)

Thank you!! His family moved to USA in September 1922, without him. It looks like he went before them. So sometime between September 1921 and September 1922.

Dundee Evening Telegraph, 8 November 1921: 'Jamie Scott, Third Lanark's right half back, is lying seriously ill. The ex-Dumbarton-Liverpool middleman belongs down Kilwinning way.'

Also, he was on Third Lanark's transfer list in May 1923, but that could just be an administrative thing.
