I'm starting a new book, provisionally entitled 'Very Heaven.' This will be about the momentous 1966-67 Scottish football season and I hope to have it ready for publication by the 40th anniversary - the start of the 2006-07 season.
I'm looking for memories, photographs, match programmes etc of the season in question, particularly these games:
England v Scotland Apr 15th 1967
Celtic v Inter Milan May 25th 1967
Rangers v Bayern Munich May 31st 1967
Barcelona v Dundee United Oct 25th 1966
Dundee United v Barcelona Nov 16th 1966
Dunfermline v Dynamo Zagreb Oct 26th 1966
(or anything on Scottish clubs in Europe this season, including Kilmarnock's run to the Fairs Cup semis)
Berwick Rangers v Rangers Jan 28th 1967
Third Lanark v Clydebank Apr 15th 1967
Dumbarton v Third Lanark Apr 28th 1967
If anyone can help please email or pm me. I know this era will be before the time of many forum members but you may know of friends or family who could assist. All items have to be yours/theirs to loan and not under copyright to anyone else or any organisation or company.
I can't offer anything in return other than an honourable mention in the Acknowledgments and the satisfaction gained from knowing you've played a part in preserving and celebrating our fitba heritage.
Any items loaned would be returned speedily in the same condition received. I've never had any complaints from contributors to my previous books.
I'm hoping to make this a celebration of Scottish football's greatest-ever season so thanks in advance for any contributions received whether used or not.
David

Though Hearts beat Newcastle 7-2 too ... probably the highlight of a poor season

Also Hearts Hibs had their first 0-0 draw since 1933 Six more would follow before 1975. Jim Cruickshank pulls of triple penalty save from Joe Davis penalty.
