Received my copy this morning and it doesn't disappoint. Aside from a comprehensive history of the club, there are also extensive chapters covering every known player, on those killed during the Great War, a complete listing of every known match played and all the players 'capped' for Perthshire. Of course in a work of this nature there are gaps - not every match was reported and line-ups were not always given - but this is a tremendous book on a long dead but famous club and well worth a place on any bookshelf.

Well done with the book Andy. I have read through the WW1 section and see that you have uncovered more information than I had on John Wilson. Your date of death for Wilson confirms that William Urquhart Sutherland was definitely the first senior Scottish footballer to lose his life in the conflict (26th August 1914).
