The People's History STV News

Post by Alan Brown » Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:27 pm

Just finished watching a programme that I recorded tonight call the Peoples History, which this time focused on Scottish football. The 30 minutes included a look at Third Lanark, St Bernards, Andrew Watson and the Hearts side of 1914. Well worth a watch.

Just watched it on stv player: http://player.stv.tv/episode/33je/peoples-history/ (registration required, but free)

An interesting little scoot around four stories which avoid the Old Firm for a change.

But what is it about TV historians wearing satchels?

Listening to what they said about Andrew Watson, I think the research you have undertaken gives a much more detailed look at his life.
