SPL Live Online

Post by Scottish » Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:04 pm

Five SPL clubs - Dundee United, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Motherwell & St Mirren - will have ALL SPL games - home and away - broadcast live by internetfootball.co.uk this season.

These games can only be viewed LIVE from outside the UK and the ROI. Cost is £5 (or local currency equivalent) per match.

All matches can be viewed globally (including UK/ROI) from midnight on the day/night of the match in question at £3.50

There's a compatibility check for both technical equipment and DRM you can run before buying. Basic requirements are at least a 512k broadband connection, Windows Media Player 9, PC running some form of Windows and IE as your browser.

The site says it doesn't support Macs but from the information given there would appear to be no reason why a Mac user with an Intel Mac running Parallels Workstation or Boot Camp shouldn't be able to access these games. I'll give it a try with the Killie v Dundee United game on Aug 12th and report back if it works or not.
