An erse or what? Two quotes from the ex-Thistle defender.
1. "Every match so far has been terrific."
Did he actually watch England- Paraguay?
2. "Brazil's performance is good news for England"
Whit? They can't meet till the semis. Both have another four games to get out the way first. Might as well say "England's performance is good news for everybody else."
To sum the erse up.
1-0 for Brazil in crappy game = Brazil are rubbish
1-0 for England in crappy game = world champions-elect
and don't get me started on Ian Wright.

I'm just waiting for Strachan to finish another of his incomprehensible-to-anyone-outside-Lochend machine gun mumbles, and Lineker to turn to Marcel Dessaily or Leonardo with, 'So, Leo/Marcel, what do you say to that?'
I'm not sure what's worse, Hansen and co given free rein for hours on end, or the thought of how much Terry Vegetables and friends are getting paid by ITV for the 10 seconds of comment they have time for between ad breaks and promo competitions.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Venereals has had an Advocaat-style hair transplant?

FFS. I've just sat and watched Argentina take apart a team that had been unbeaten in qualifying and which had played and not lost to both Italy & Spain in qualiifers in the past three years.
And what are Lineker and co talking about at half-time?
Last night's England match.

Hansen is so far up Linekars butt that his shoes will be spit polished brown!
For a scotsman he should be ashamed of commentating and 'loving' england so much!!!
He should be hung drawn and quartered the guy is a joke! and always refers to incidents as - when i was a defender i would have done this!!! - fine he was an okay defender but on the international stage he was excrement!!!!

I saw Hansen with Lineker after the England-Croatia manager. He had considerable trouble keeping a straight face. He told Lineker - "If England had qualified you'd now be telling me they are favourites".
Hansen is paid by the BBC as a pundit on English football, he couldn't keep his job if he spent his time slagging off England and the English clubs. But just occasionally his guard drops!
