He gets one thing right. The only way it will ever happen is if the media, principally Sky, decide it's a good idea. He neglects to say that the only circumstances in which they would think this way would be if crowds, revenue, sponsorhsip and TV audiences were all in decline and in need of the quick boost the OF's presence would provide.
In other words only when the ba's on the slates.

Also Desmond hints that he thinks some clubs will go out of business as a result of paying excessive wages - perhaps creating convenient vacancies for Celtc and Rngers. So that they can join the EPL and earn lots more money, to pay much higher wages to try and compete. And to potentially go out of business as a result of paying excessive wages.
Oh well, bring it on.
