Bonnybridge/ Bailleston Juniors

Post by Rob R » Fri Oct 28, 2011 6:29 am

Are Bonnybridge and Baillieston still members of the SJFA and if not , does anyone know the reason Bonnybridge went out of existance ? Thanks in advance.

Bonnybridge are 'defunct'.

They closed due to a lack of committee members - at the end they had just two, brothers Bill and Stuart MacDonald.

Bailleston went into abeyance a couple of years ago, IIRC - after a period of homelessness? - but did not return. There is a Youth FA outfit in operation carrying their name.

One more question thanks , or possibilly two. Is Bonnybridge's ground still intact or is it under tarmac and concrete. Thanks in advance.

Nope, Duncan Stewart Park is still there, and used occasionally.
