Dundee United v Dundee programme from 11th Sep 1993 gives the following details, Millwall team doesn't look correct though.

Dundee United
Ugolini, Graham, Briggs, Neilson, Smith, Fraser, Boner, Gillespie, Mochan, Howieson,Ormond

Scorers Ormond 75 min Gillespie 82min

No indeed, twelve players for a start. I think I know what the problems are. Anderson & Alan aren't two players. The man in question is Alan Anderson, later of Hearts fame. I think (though can't be certain) that the A Anderson in the forward line is actually Alf Ackerman. Millwall's only other Anderson was Des Anderson, signed from Hibs but that wasn't until the summer. The Brady at full-back is Pat Brady and the centre-half Ray Brady.

Thanks for the responses received so far.

David, I agree with your observations on the Millwall team line-up.

According to Millwall a complete record the Andersons were Alec and Alan. Maybe someone who never played a league or cupgame for Millwall?

Curious. No player of that name registered with Millwall at that time. Only possible one is Sandy Anderson of Southend but he was a full back. Maybe a trialist?
