It's Only A Game - 1986

Post by Sat31March1928 » Sun Sep 24, 2006 9:48 am

Watched the first 3 episodes yesterday. I'd never seen it before. A delicous mixture of old footage (and some horror footage from 1965 at Tynecastle) and some talking heads.

Some of the anecdotes from the players and managers are 'laugh out loud' moments. Especially from the likes of Law, Baxter and Shankley.

The footage of Jock Stein the day he died is particularly hard to watch.

Though it could have been 100 years ago, given the changes that have happened since.

Release it on DVD now!
